In just under a month, seven Crowdtap employees will cross five bridges in five boroughs as they run the 2015 NYC Marathon.
A few months ago, the team selected New York’s Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as its charity of choice, and set out to raise $10,000 in support of Fred’s Team, the dedicated athletic fundraising arm of MSKCC. Now, more than three weeks out from the big day (Nov. 1), the team has raised more than $23,000 – more than doubling the original goal.
The money #TeamCrowdtap is able to raise ahead of the NYC Marathon will directly benefit groundbreaking cancer research initiatives that will help save lives. Cancer is something the affects all people, in all walks of life, and it is something that will touch most of us in our lifetimes.
A small donation can help Crowdtap reach its stretch goal of $25,000 by the end of the month. You can give at http://bit.ly/TeamCrowdtap.
P.S. Last weekend, the team ran the MSKCC Fred’s Team 13.1 road race in Central Park as a final pre-marathon tune-up before tapering begins. Never ones to settle for “good enough,” the team completed the 13.1 run and then tacked on another eight miles for good measure.
How can you say no to these smiling faces? Help the cause here.
